As a Licensed Professional Counselor, he has created a unique, distinctive concierge-style counseling and life coaching practice serving both the Phoenix and Scottsdale metropolitan areas. For more than two decades, he has specialized in working with individuals and couples consisting primarily of dynamic, successful professionals, corporate executives, physicians, attorneys, elite athletes, affluent men and women, and the specific needs of this particular clientele. Utilizing a creative, holistic, proactive, and adventurous style, Mr. Nissenbaum designs personalized counseling, life coaching, and/or sports injury rehabilitation treatment programs for his clients. Through limiting the number of individuals and couples he works with at any given time, he is able to offer a greatly enhanced level of service to those clients accepted into his practice, such as increased appointment availability including weekends, increased length of sessions, secured confidential email access, and in order to maintain absolute confidentiality and convenience, the option of scheduling appointments at a client’s residence or office.

Mr. Nissenbaum is deeply passionate about combining the responsibility of psychological and physiological science with the art and creativity of psychotherapy, along with honoring the profound mind-body connection. Whether collaborating with his clientele as counselor or life coach, he works from the perspective that each individual has tremendous freedom in the direction of his or her future, a large capacity for personal growth, and a considerable amount of intrinsic worth, along with the enormous potential for self-fulfillment and self-actualization. While first focusing on understanding the client's perspective, he then assists each individual or couple in the transformational process of moving through various goal-oriented stages of psychological, physical, and emotional healing. Mr. Nissenbaum functions in collaborative combination with his clients as facilitator, educator, self-actualization guide, life coach, mentor, and friend, in the successful creation of both individual and relationship healing and growth.
